How to play

Type any five-letter word and press Enter. Each letter then changes colour:

• Green: the letter is in the word, in the right place.
• Yellow: the letter is in the word, but in a different place.
• Grey: the letter is not in the word.

Use the clues to narrow it down. Every answer is a common English word, and once you finish you can read its meaning, synonyms and pronunciation. Your streak is saved in this browser.
