among vs between: what's the difference?
Between is traditionally used for two things and among for more than two, although between is also used for more than two when each is considered individually.
among

Meaning: in the middle of, or shared by, a group of more than two
Example: “She was happy among friends.”
between
/bɪˈtwiːn/
Meaning: in the space separating two things, or shared by two
Example: “Sit between Anna and Tom.”
